Like it or not, we have a stereotype when a woman is behind the wheel.

More often than not, our society deems unfairly that driving is biased towards men.

It’s not surprising to see a male racing driver, but we are often intrigued when we encounter a female driver, more so a female racing driver.

The documentary ‘Speed Sisters’ aims to change that connotation and prove that a woman can be a force to be reckoned with behind the steering wheel.

Speed Sisters explores the first, all-female Palestinian racing team and tells the story of Noor, Mona, Maysoon, Betty and Marah.

The documentary features the rush that the female drivers feel whenever they drive and compete. It also features their struggles and difficulties in pursuing their passion for driving.
